Itinerary

Jambo! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our representative who will greet you and assist with the transfer to the hotel for overnight.

You will be picked up to begin your Kenya wildlife tour through the scenic Rift Valley, heading toward Maasai Mara, the country’s most renowned reserve. Enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge and arrive just in time for lunch. The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most iconic and frequently visited game reserve, also famously featured in the film “Out of Africa.” This sanctuary shelters an incredible variety of wildlife, including Africa’s legendary Big Five.  One of nature’s greatest spectacles takes place here every year: the migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing from the Serengeti in Tanzania over the Mara River into the fertile Maasai Mara grasslands from late June. Bird enthusiasts will also find the reserve rewarding, with more than 450 recorded species. Covering over 700 square miles of golden plains, Maasai Mara surrounds Keekorok Lodge, the first lodge built in the reserve back in 1962. Perfectly located in the path of the Great Migration between July and October, it offers front-row views of this awe-inspiring natural event. Overnight at Keekorok Lodge

Full day in Maasai Mara to enjoy morning and evening game drives. Rest of the day you can enjoy the activities offered at the lodge.

On the fourth day of your Kenyan safari, the adventure continues to Lake Nakuru National Park. This shallow, alkaline lake is world-renowned for its spectacular flocks of flamingos; at times, hundreds of thousands of them gather here, turning the waters a shimmering pink. The park is also home to a remarkable array of wildlife, from leopards, often seen lounging in the yellow-barked acacia trees, to lions, buffalo, hippos, antelopes, wild boars, and baboons. Lake Nakuru is also home to the endangered Rothschild's giraffe, found only in this park, as well as the rare black and white rhinos, which are carefully protected within its boundaries. Accommodation is at Flamingo Hill Camp, a small and intimate retreat with just 25 luxury tents. Far from traditional camping, these tents feature modern amenities that combine the charm of a safari with stylish design. With its warm, safari-inspired décor, natural wood accents, and luxurious furnishings, each tent is designed to provide relaxation after a busy day of exploring.

After breakfast, you will depart Lake Nakuru National Park and travel to Aberdare National Park. This picturesque reserve is characterized by its steep, rocky valleys, misty peaks, and vast expanses of open land. Aberdare offers refuge to a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalo, wild boar, and antelope. Among the rarer animals found there are the elusive giant junglefowl, bongos, golden cats, African wildcats, African civets, and shy blue antelopes. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls, trout fishing in shimmering rivers, or camping in the expansive grasslands. Birdwatchers are rewarded with sightings of over 250 species, including Jackson's pheasants, hawks, eagles, colorful sunbirds, and energetic plovers. After your tour, head to The Ark Hotel for an overnight stay and indulge in gourmet meals.

After breakfast at the Ark Hotel, bid farewell to Aberdar Reserve and embark on your return journey to Nairobi. You will arrive in Kenya's vibrant capital, Nairobi, in the early afternoon. Overnight at the Nairobi Serena Hotel.

After an early breakfast at the Nairobi Serena Hotel, your tour begins at 6:30 a.m. with a visit to Nairobi National Park, one of the most beautiful reserves near the capital. Here, lush green plains stretch out in a unique landscape behind the city's skyscrapers. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, most notably the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Next, from 11:00 to 12:00, you will visit the David Sheldrick Orphanage Elephant Sanctuary, where visitors can see the young elephants and learn about the efforts to rescue and care for them. Then, you will proceed to the AFEW Kenya Giraffe Center, dedicated to the protection of the rare Rothschild's giraffes. The center offers a unique opportunity to feed the giraffes and hike a 1.5 km nature trail through the local forest, rich in birds and wildlife. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a late lunch at the Talisman restaurant in the Karen area, before returning to the hotel between 15:00 and 16:30. Later, you will be transferred to the airport in preparation for your return flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of Kenya.
