An All Tours Egypt representative will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam to start your Marsa Alam Day Tour. You will be transferred by air-conditioned car to visit the famous temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. The drive to Edfu takes about 3 hours from Marsa Alam. Upon arrival, you will begin with a visit to the Temple of Horus, which is located on the west bank of the Nile River. The temple is dedicated to the god Horus and was built during the Ptolemaic period. After visiting Edfu, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then proceed to Kom Ombo to visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple, which was also built during the Ptolemaic dynasty, is dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Much of the temple has been destroyed by the Nile. Finally, your guide will escort you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam before 6 pm."
